Lacefront wigs are specifically designed to provide realistic hairlines when wearing a wig. Lacefront wigs have excess lace that extends beyond the hairline and this lace is trimmed to custom fit the wig wearer. The lace is then glued to the wearers skin, which serves to secure the wig and to provide a lifelike hairline.
