Kryolan Collodion

Kryolan Collodion is used widely in stage, film, and Cosplay to simulate scars on the skin. When applied to the skin, Collodion causes the skin to gather and pucker which gives the illusion of scarring. Once applied, Collodion can be colored with makeup for additional visual effects.

Directions For Use

Apply collodion in a thin line using a brush to the area where you want to simulate a scar. Using collodion over a more fleshy area of the skin will create the best visual effects. To simulate deeper scars, apply several coats of collodion after each layer has dried.

To remove, apply spirit gum remover and allow the remover to dissolve the collodion. We recommend moisturizing the skin where the collodion was applied to restore moisture to the skin.

Amazing Product

I make costumes for conventions and wanted to branch out of doing full armor and make something with scarring. The Kryolan Collodium was the perfect fit for my makeup needs. It was easy to apply and well even while I was sweating in 90+ weather for 6 hours.
