Ben Nye Castor Sealer is an FX product that is used to seal latex prosthetics and appliances which makes the latex makeup ready. After sealing latex with castor sealer, you are no longer bound to use only rubber mask grease, but rather, you can use any creme makeup to paint your prosthetic. This product is available in several sizes and you can expect from 15-40 applications per ounce.

Directions For Use

Using a brush or sponge, apply Castor Sealer to a cured latex appliance ensuring full coverage of the latex appliance. Let the appliance sit with the Castor Sealer applied for 10 to 20 minutes. Wipe off any excess Castor Sealer and your appliance will be ready to accept cream type makeup.

Castor Sealer

So,I’m new to foam latex appliances.Fortunately for me,the folks at Embellish Fox are not.
They proved me with the proper product(Castor Sealer)and enough info about its use that I was able to effectively seal and prime my appliance before painting it.This product is easy to use and did what it needs to do!
